The Euregio Marching Trophy for Individual walkers
At one of the official walks of the EMT, the walker buys,
together with the usual registration card, an EMT participation card with the logos of all the participating clubs.
This EMT participation card for the entire trophy costs €2.50.
This is exclusive the normal registration fee that has to be paid to the organising club.
After each walk, after showing the correct registration card, the EMT participation card will be stamped in the box of the organising club.
Lost cards cannot be replaced.
Participants who visit all organising clubs within two years receive a badge, a certificate and several prizes.
The individual walkers receive their prize after completing their sixth walk.
The Club trophy
The club trophy is awarded per cycle of seven walks (one event per organising club + the final) after making up the overall standings.
To participate in the
Club Trophy, each club has to be a member of a recognized walking federation.
At each walk of the cycle, participating clubs receive ONE POINT per participant.
Per walk, the awarded points of the participating members of the clubs will be added up.
The total of awarded points is limited by the number of purchased EMT participation cards.
To be entitled to the final prize, each club has to have taken part in six of the seven walks of the cycle with at least TEN walkers.
The FIFTEEN best ranked clubs in the overall standings are entitled to a prize. The winner owns the EMT CHALLANGE CUP for a period of one cycle. A club that wins this CHALLANGE CUP three times within a maximum of five cycles becomes the permanent owner of the trophy.
On the day of the final, the registration for participants in the Euregio Marching Trophy will close at 14.00 hours.
